Doctor Who survey

Two (sort of three?) questions: Who was the first Doctor you watched? Who do you consider “your Doctor”? If they’re different, any thoughts on why?

1: Jon Pertwee. 2: Tom Baker. 3: While I remember Pertwee, Tom Baker started at a crucial time in my development, and then he continued for so long. Plus I think some of the fourth Doctor’s stories are some of the best written Science Fiction for television. They hit a perfect confluence of talents, with writing, production, directing, and acting that lasted up until the last season of Baker’s run. (Coincidentally when the production team completely changed, and Michael Grade started trying to kill the series off. And the introduction of Adric.)

apopelectric answered: 10th, favorite is 9th. I haven’t seen many other doctors, but 9 is very sweet but stern - sort of a father figure type. 10’s fun but selfish.
